Biography

Angela is a seasoned Worship Leader, Songwriter and Choir Director with a reputation for being able to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. Ministry started for her at a young age as a Choir Director in her teens and a Youth Minister in her early twenties. She also sang with her sisters in a group called Eternal Excellence, releasing an EP in 2003. She joined the London Community Gospel Choir in her late teens, where she says she ‘grew up’ singing-wise and honed her skills. She was also a lead singer and conductor in the adult mass choir of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), the church family to which she belongs. She went on to become the first Choir Director of the NXGN Choir (youth mass choir of the RCCG UK), training and directing the choir for several years from its inception until she re-located to Northern Ireland where she founded the Youth Gospel Choir Northern Ireland (YGCNI).

Her passion for God is evident when she sings and her desire is that in every setting in which she finds herself, she will be used by God to foster an atmosphere for His manifest presence, where people are released in the place of worship and transformed by the power of the life-giving Word of God. She is passionate about encouraging and nurturing holistic growth and development in people, particularly youth and young adults and she is a mentor to many.

In December 2016, she released ‘Change’, her debut single. The song encapsulates the heartfelt cry of anyone that desires for more of God and the manifestation of His purpose in their life. The song is available as a free download on her website.

The second single from her upcoming debut album, ‘Light of the World’ was released on 22nd May on all digital stores. With its profound words and catchy melody, it’s set to become an anthem in churches across all denominations.

Angela lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland where, together with her husband, she serves in a pastoral role in her local church, Place of Victory for All Nations (PVN).

She is happily married with 3 beautiful children that she calls her ‘in-house gym’!
